For the second year in a row, we had planned to celebrate Christmas day in Cape Girardeau at my sister's house and for the second year in a row...we didn't make it! Last year, it was my sister's family that was sick. This year, poor little Evie woke up with a tummy ache on Christmas morning. After a few trips to the bathroom and a few hours laying on the couch, we finally opened gifts around 2!
However, we celebrated Christmas the few days leading up to it with other family members and had a great time!
