Claire's 3rd birthday is coming up and I can't believe it's been that long since we last held our baby girl. Today we had a memorial celebration at the cemetery. It was great to be there and show our love for her but also sad at the same time. We brought Cole with us and that was the first time he had been there. I was happy to introduce him to Claire but sad that we had to do it. He should be able to look in her face and smile at the silly faces that she is making.
We enjoyed some time there releasing balloons, leaving flowers and eating some cupcakes. If only we could celebrate her birthday under different circumstances.
I love you Claire....more than you will ever know.
